A few weeks ago I had a meeting with my friend/web designer and we had to find a little spot where we could meet up with Wi-Fi connection. My friend suggested to go and eat at Exki because she has been there several times and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.
On the first picture here above him you can see him all the goodies next Keehau’s to all farm we took a evening meal and that was for €9,95 and for this amount you will get a warm healthy meal tea and a muffin of choic.e The nice thing about Exki is that with every dish salad or quiche there are specifically signs about the content of the dish. So if it’s vegan that will show on the card through a vegan logo on it. I also tried the cheesecake as well and I totally loved it! It’s was fluffy and very nice compared to the Starbucks New York cheesecake which is very solid.
Take a meal home or warm it on the spot! On the right side unfortunately I didn’t make a really good picture of it but they have plastic cups with freshly made cold mint lemon tea sweetened with raw sugar syrup. This was amazing, I could not even taste the sugar….(which is pretty amazing in my book).
Very cute Exki tea giveaway packages
A warm meal with couscous and winter veggies:

There were alot of raisins in it and I am not a fan of raisins in my dinners. I associate raisins and nuts with sweet dishes and not with dinner meals, but hey that’s me!
Exki always has 2 different soups:
This is how my dinner looked like:
The couscouls looked so little in that little carton box, but do not underestimate that grainL a small amount will keep you full. I am amazed that you can have a very healthy menu for just 10 euro’s!
Chai tea! I did not remember the brand this tasted so soothing and the flavours of cloves and cardemom are simply divine.
The concept of Exki is very neat: they make their food fresh everyday, they try to reduce their ecological footprint every year and 25% of their food is even gluten-free. Also everything they use is biological and fair trade. Exki has enough space to drink coffee or tea or evening meals. The eating area is a very relaxed living room in the middle of the area there is even a reading table where you can sit down with your food. To be short I can definitely recommend Exki and the times I have been there (I been there twice) I always see expats and people from foreign countries it has a really good multicultural/intellectual vibe to it I really feel comfortable being there.
