I haven’t done a fashion wednesday inspiration post for a long time, which I am making up for big time by posting a ‘special editon’ about lace. Lace can look really old fashioned, but wearing it the right way can look really vintage, innocent and classy all at the same time. The pictures below are from Pinterest.

sweatherunderlace
This is new for me! A sweater where on the botton a longer laced tunic is sticking out, ha eureka!

diyswatshirt
This seems like a really cool DIY project, just replace the sleeves of a old sweater with laced sleeves. You can even vary with other colors such as light beige, light brown, black, you name it!

lace_colbert
This is my all time favorite combining a lace tunic with a blazer; this creates such a sophisticated look

lace_brownleather
For a more country look combine with a brown leather jacket.

leatherlace
The black leather jacket here, is not doing it for me; a laced look should look soft and natural not harsh

lace_jeans
Here I would prefer ‘normal’ jeans that aren’t ripped, but whatever makes you feel comfortable.

peplum_lace
This peplum laced tunic is so so so elegant

greenlace
The same applies for this longer green tunic

oker
Broken white suites any color even with the color oker wit a hint of brown (bag and belt) to prevent the look from going bland

lace_red
And yes so we continue to go through all the colors of the rainbow; even red is supercute on lace

lace_red_black_tiger
Even red accessories

lace_skirt
Awesome ‘ruffle laced’ skirt

whiteblacklace
